INSTRUCTIONS TO AUTHORS


Composition of the texts

The text should follow the outline sent by the initiator so that each disease, association or institution is shown in the same way as the others; the pages will be reorganized to facilitate playback on different media.

Structure of the text

The text must include:

  • Associations or institutions:

(2 pages maximum on the form is submitted)
(You can request the form simply by mail to tremblerenbelgique@gmail.com specifying the name of your association and the disease she is concerned).

    • The name,
    • The official logo,
    • Slogan (One sentence) (Optional)
    • Overview (2-3 lines) (optional)
    • Description / definition of the disease (10 lines max, do not hesitate to bold the important reading points)
    • The roles (aims)
    • Way of working
    • Informations to know (optional)
    • Important information or useful to do to let people know.
    • Other remarks (optional)
    • If there is a lot of info in the item « to know, » adding important information and of a different order.
    • Legal references (Legal Publications, …) (optional)
    • Legislation and decrees corresponding to the topic
    • Read more
      • Contact (the address and contact of authors as complete as possible)
      • Link website and / of your presence on social networks, or interesting links to further informations to make people aware of the topic.
    •  Metadata: keywords set internally for the search engine
  • The diseases :

    • The name
    • A quick general description (maximum 5 lines).
    • On the following pages: the body of the article.
    • The subtitles are recommended, along the length of the text, special pages will be created.
    • Articles will be signed and contact informations of authors as complete as possible will be sent to the site to enable the transmission of some questions. The initiator will only transmit general questions and all special requests will always return to nearby specialists, this site is not created nor advertising or for free consultations via the Internet.
    • The bibliographical references endnotes are called in the article numbers based on the order of appearance in the text. The presentation of references must comply with the « Standardization of writing for articles submitted to biomedical journals » (N Engl J Med 1997; 336: 309-15).
Depending on the subjects,
the headings can be adjusted if necessary.

The project initiator has the care of the articles layout.

short introductions or additional information can be added.

They will be written in the form of: « Editor’s Note ».

Iconography :

Images can be attached in any format, make sure they are free of copyright or accompanied by the name and the authorization of the author. Each illustration must be called in the text. It is the same for tables, they must include a title and a legend explaining any abbreviations used in the table.
