My motivations.

Like you, I was shaking and I still shake. I wondered why, I asked myself many questions and not always the good ones, I tried to act but not the right way, So I lost my job.

I got lucky when I talked to my doctor, he diagnosed me immediately and sent me to a neurologist.

Like you, perhaps, he explained, kindly certainly, my illness. But I did not understand, my brain is stuck on « You have… » and is restarted to « That will cost € 54, you will pay at the cash. »

When I got home, I rushed to my computer to try to understand what he had told me. I found the site of a French association on the subject, but the names of the drugs were different, the organization of health care too … That’s why I got involved for several years in the creation of a Belgian association, to help my compatriots understand their disease.

Then, to my great displeasure, I developed other diseases which, a priori, are not compatible with the former. So I tried again to understand. And I went back online. But all information is always fragmented and a multitude of site should be consulted to have an overview of the disease, to find who can help us, wich associations and institutions have to be contacted for informations …

So I would like to gathered everything on one site, so that you do not have to do it your self.

There are in fact many different tremors that have their own specificities. So I intend, with your help, to explain in a simple way as possible these tremors, exposing new discoveries or therapeutic approaches and the steps to take to obtain aid. While recalling that I am not a doctor, I’m a patient as another who tries to understand what is happening and who is trying to get out.
